cobra and rose

This was a project for my digital painting class. The assignment was to use either the oil, acrylic, or gouache brushes to create an image which uses a split complementary color scheme. So this is what I did..I didn't know what to draw and my mind just kinda went straight to snakes because they're just so fun to draw xD haha ..then I had to add something else so it would be easier to use the 2 other colors, so I added the rose..

Done in Painter 12 using a wacom tablet :]
